Junior Stephanie Haugh Blogs about Upcoming 2014 Spring Season

Moving into the spring season can be exciting and challenging. This spring, we lost 8 detrimental players, who made strong impacts on and off the field. Although it is sad to see our senior class leave it also will be an opportunity for the rest of the team to learn how to mesh together and create a new atmosphere. Throughout the spring, our upcoming senior class will be focusing on team unity and cohesiveness trying to build chemistry throughout the classes on and off the field. We look forward to the spring schedule as it is sure to challenge us to perform well and also a chance to see how we are progressing as a team. Personally, I feel each player on our team brings different talents to the field and with a lot of hard work and dedication we should be a quite successful. We are looking forward to our spring season games as we travel to Illinois in March for a 7v7 tournament to compete against 3 to 4 other Division I programs. In April, we will travel to Pitt and Duquesne and then host Slipper Rock to cap off our spring season. Go Flashes! Steph Haugh
